A 1996 Olympian, Jim Walker is a great asset to any event.

Since leaving the athletic arena, where he was World Cup Champion and Australian Surf Champion, Jim has moved into television, radio and is also a respected public speaker.

Recently, Jim has been coaching at the NSW Institute of Sport as men's elite sprint coach. In this time he has coached paddlers to five national titles and numerous state titles. To date his greatest achievement as a coach is the inclusions of one of his paddlers on the 2008 Olympic Team.

Jim has presented on such shows as Sydney Weekender (channel 7), as host and commentator of the 2005 World White Water Championships (SBS), The Nutri-Grain Iron Man Series (channel 7) and the 2004 Athens Olympics ( channel 7).

His experience in radio has varied from 4BC 2004 Olympic presenter, fitness and sports expert on 2MMM for their program 'The wrong side of the bed' with Scott Cam plus delivering roving reports for the ABC.

Jim is well respected on the public speaking circuit. He has addressed and inspired over 200 organisations, ranging from business leaders to local community events, government departments and charities.

He is an inspirational, passionate and knowledgeable athlete, coach and commentator. His expertise, friendly and professional approach make him sought after for keynote speaking and MC work.
